for students of the Master of Statistics programme to recognize their outstanding
achievements upon admission.

Purpose and Scope
A maximum of forty scholarships shall be awarded annually to new students of
the Master of Statistics programme on the basis of academic merit, financial
need upon admission and, if necessary, interview performance. The exact
number of scholarships shall be determined by the Department of Statistics and
Actuarial Science.
