On the Donor
In 1985, Madam Woo Yeung Ming Lau donated, on behalf of her family, a sum to establish a scholarship in memory of the late Dr. Woo Hon Fai, C.B.E., J.P.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded annually, on the basis of academic merit, to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Business and Economics to take part in learning activities such as but not limited to academic exchange, service learning activities, study tours, etc. Preference shall be given to students partaking in full-year academic exchange or visiting programmes.
In the unlikely event that there is no deserving students from the Faculty of Business and Economics, the Scholarship may be awarded to deserving students from other faculties.
The Scholarship shall be awarded annually, on the basis of academic merit, to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Business and Economics to take part in learning activities such as but not limited to academic exchange, service learning activities, study tours, etc.
The value of each award shall be in the range of HK$12,000 to HK$100,000. The exact value and number of scholarships awarded each year shall be dependent on fund availability, the duration, destination and nature of the learning activity.
