On the Donor
In May 2020, VTech Corporate Services Limited (the “Donor”) pledged an initial
donation of HK$200,000 to establish a scholarship for students of the Faculty of
Engineering of The University of Hong Kong (the “University”).

Purpose and Scope
Scholarships of the value of HK$10,000 each, shall be awarded to full-time Year
3 undergraduate students of Faculty of Engineering reading any of the
following degrees. Three awards for academic years 2020-21 to 2025-26 (6
academic years); two awards for academic year 2026-27.
▪ Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science [BEng(CompSc)];
▪ Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Engineering [BEng(ElecE)];
▪ Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering and Logistics
Management [BEng(IELM)] OR
▪ Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering [BEng(ME)]
3. The Scholarship shall be awarded primarily based on academic merit (CGPA
3.30 or above). Participation of extracurricular activities and community service
shall also be taken into consideration. In cases of students of equal academic
merit, priority shall be given to those with financial need.
