In December 2006, Dr. Allan Wong donated a capital sum of HK$250,000 to The
University of Hong Kong to establish an endowment fund1 to award an entrance scholarship
in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering annually.

Purpose and Scope
One scholarship shall be awarded each year to a second-year student admitted to the
BEng degree programmes of the Department on the basis of academic merit.
