Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Global Health and Development Enrichment Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2021, the Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Global Health and Development [BASc(GHD)] Curriculum Committee established an Enrichment Scholarship to provide support for meritorious students to undertake an overseas field placement.

Purpose and Scope

Up to seven scholarships shall be awarded each year to support BASc(GHD) students to undertake overseas field placement, on the basis of academic merit and interview performance. The Scholarship is intended to cover, in full or partially, expenses directly relevant to the overseas field placement.

The Scholarship value shall be in range of HK$10,000 to HK$60,000 for each awardee, determined by the location and length of the placement.

The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with other merit-based enrichment scholarships administered by the University for the same activity. The Scholarship may be held concurrently with non-merit-based financial aids.
