Computer Science Taught Postgraduate Scholarship for Part-time Students

In 2021, the Department of Computer Science of The University of Hong Kong established an Entrance Scholarship to support new part-time students of the Master of Science in Computer Science [MSc(CompSc)], the Master of Science in Electronic Commerce and Internet Computing [MSc(ECom&IComp)] and the Master of Science in Financial Technology and Data Analytics [MSc(FTDA)].

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually, on the basis of academic merit, to part-time students admitted to the MSc(CompSc), MSc(ECom&IComp) or MSc(FTDA) programme. Relevant work experience may be taken into consideration. If necessary, applicants may be invited for interviews. 
 
The value of each scholarship shall be at least 25% of the tuition fee. The exact number and value of scholarships shall be determined by the Selection Committee based on funding availability. 

The Scholarship cannot be held concurrently with other scholarships administered by Department of Computer Science.
