Eliot Hall Memorial Scholarship

On the Donor

In 1974, the Eliot Hall Golden Jubilee Commemoration Fund Trustees donated 6,100 Hong Kong Electric Co., Ltd shares for the award of Eliot Hall Memorial Scholarship to residents of the Old Halls. With effect from 1992-93, the Trustees agreed not to restrict the recipients of the scholarships to Old Halls residents.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded to an undergraduate student on the basis of academic merit; sportmanship and financial need will also be taken into account.

Note:

• Applications are usually accepted in Semester One of each academic year.
• Applications for the 2023-24 Scholarship will open in late August 2023 and close in late September 2023. For details, please refer to 2023-24 General Round Scholarship Applications. Results are expected to be available around May/June 2024.
