MSc(Eng) in Energy Engineering Entrance Scholarship

In 2021, the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Department of
Mechanical Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering established an Entrance Scholarship
for students reading for MSc(Eng) in Energy Engineering.

Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded each year, on the basis of academic merit, to first year
part-time MSc(Eng) in Energy Engineering students with good relevant honours degree.
Relevant working experience will also be taken into consideration. The number of
scholarships shall be determined by the Selection Committee based on funding availability.
3. The value of the Scholarship shall be of the equivalent to 25% of the MSc(Eng) tuition fees1
for the degree curriculum.
