In 2022, the Department of Mechanical Engineering established an Entrance Scholarship for
students of the MSc(Eng) in Innovative Design and Technology programme.

Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded each year, on the basis of academic merit, to first year
(part-time or full-time) students of the MSc(Eng) in Innovative Design and Technology
programme. The number of scholarships shall be determined by the Selection Committee
based on funding availability.
3. The value of each scholarship shall be equivalent to 20% of the MSc(Eng) tuition fee1 for
the degree curriculum.
