DASE MSc(Eng) Knowledge Exchange Scholarship

In 2022, the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering (IMSE)

under the Faculty of Engineering set up a MSc(Eng)(IELM) Knowledge Exchange

Scholarship for its MSc(Eng)(IELM) students.

In 2022, the Department of Data and Systems Engineering (DASE) under the Faculty of Engineering set up a MSc(Eng)(IELM) Knowledge Exchange Scholarship for its MSc(Eng)(IELM) students. In 2025, the Scholarship was extended to other programmes offered by the Department, and was renamed “DASE MSc(Eng) Knowledge Exchange Scholarship”.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually, on the basis of academic merit, to first year

MSc(Eng)(IELM) part-time students who are permanent residents of Hong Kong.

Relevant work experience may be taken into consideration.

3. The number of scholarships to be awarded each year shall be determined by the

Department of IMSE, based on funding availability.

4. The value of the each scholarship shall be equivalent to 20%-30% of the

MSc(Eng)(IELM) tuition fee1 for the degree curriculum.
