In April 2021, the Dragon Culture Charity Fund (“the Fund”) pledged a donation of
HK$600,000 to support PhD students from universities globally in the fields of medical and
healthcare-related sciences for three years.

Purpose and Scope
Up to four scholarships shall be awarded each year to PhD students in the LKS Faculty of
Medicine, who are from Hong Kong Special Administrative Region or Mainland China,
on the basis of the following selection criteria:
• Research proposal;
• Academic performance;
• Research experience & publications;
• Participation in extracurricular activities and community services;
• Reason for application and future goals;
• Recommendation letter from a teacher in the Faculty (if applicable).
