HKU Business School – Thomas Kwok and Family Future Leader Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2022, Sun Hung Kai Properties Limited pledged an annual donation of HK$200,000 for 4

years, from June 2022 to establish a Scholarship to support local undergraduates in the Faculty

of Business and Economics (HKU Business School). The Faculty will provide a matching fund

of HK$200,000 each year towards this donation,

In 2022, AKwok Charitable Fund pledged an annual donation for 4 years, from June 2022 to establish a Scholarship to support local undergraduates in the Faculty of Business and Economics (HKU Business School). The Faculty will provide a matching fund each year towards this donation.

Purpose and Scope

Up to 20 scholarships shall be made annually to full-time local Year 2 or Year 3

undergraduate students who are studying in the Faculty of Business and Economics with

no record of academic misconduct, and have completed at least two regular semesters of

study at the time of application, on the basis of academic merit with a minimum CGPA of

3.0 or top 15% ranking in their degree cohort.

3. The Scholarship shall be of the value of HK$20,000 each. Each recipient can only receive

the Scholarship once throughout his/her undergraduate studies.
