On the Donor
In May 2022, Ms Cindi Hui (PCLL 1998) (“the Donor”) pledged to contribute
HK$200,000 for the establishment of a scholarship to support outstanding law students
with financial difficulties studying at the University of Hong Kong
In May 2022, Ms Cindi Hui pledged a sum for the establishment of a scholarship starting from the academic year 2021-22 to support outstanding law students with financial difficulties studying at the University of Hong Kong. In May 2024, the Donor further donated a sum to continue her support to the Scholarship.
Purpose and Scope
A maximum of four scholarships shall be awarded each year to undergraduate
year 2 law students on the basis of academic merit and financial need.
Participation in extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities and performance
during interviews, which may be arranged when appropriate, may also be
taken into consideration.
A maximum of five scholarships shall be awarded each year to University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded undergraduate law students on the basis of academic merit and financial need. Participation in extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities and performance during interviews, which may be arranged when appropriate, may also be taken into consideration.
