On the Donor

In 2021, Dr Joy Li and her husband Dr Calvin Kam generously pledged a donation to the Department of Real Estate and Construction. Dr Kam is the Founder and CEO and Dr Li is the Senior Project Manager of Strategic Building Innovation - bimSCORE Limited. Aiming to identify high-calibre candidates and nurture Hong Kong’s next generation of professionals in the field of real estate, the donation shall support the establishment of a scholarship for BSc in Surveying students. 

Purpose and Scope

One scholarship shall be awarded annually to a third-year BSc in Surveying student who has achieved the best academic performance in that academic year and performed well in general practice surveying related subjects. 
 
The value of the Scholarship shall be HK$10,000.

If there are two or more candidates with equal academic merit, or any other situations deemed necessary, shortlisted students may be invited to an interview with the Selection Committee. Following the interview, the Selection Committee shall recommend a candidate for the award.
