In 2022, the Centenary Scholarship Fund – HKUMed Awards is established with donations and matching grant received under HKU’s Turn 1 to 5 Campaign.
The Award shall be made annually, based on academic merit, to local full-time undergraduate students enrolled in UGC-funded programmes under the Medical Faculty.
The value of each award shall be in the range of HK$10,000 to HK$100,000. The number of awards to be made each year, and the tenure and exact value of each award shall be determined by the Selection Committee based on academic merit and availability of funding.
The Award shall be tenable for one year or renewable until completion of studies under normative study period, subject to satisfactory academic performance and availability of funding.
