In October 2022, Mr Daniel Shi and his family pledged a donation of HK$200,000 to
set up a scholarship in honour of his grandmother to support and encourage
undergraduate students to contribute to the development of the Greater China
Region.

Purpose and Scope
Two scholarships shall be awarded annually to students who:
(i) are permanent residents of Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau or Taiwan;
(ii) are full-time undergraduate students of any discipline; and
(iii) have been accepted to and successfully completed the “Creativity,
Innovation & Entrepreneurship in China: Door to new opportunities in
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau” Programme organised by the Faculty of
Business and Economics.
3. The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit with a
minimum CGPA of 3.0 or top 50% class ranking for programmes without GPA.
Where students are of equal merit, priority shall be given to students with
financial need.
4. The Scholarship shall be of the value of HK$10,000 each.
