The American Cultural Experience Scholarship (ACES) of the U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau

In 2023, the U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau (USCG), in collaboration with The University of Hong Kong, established “The American Cultural Experience Scholarship (ACES) of the U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau”. The scholarship programme will support up to 30 undergraduate students annually to conduct one-semester exchange programme in the United States to promote shared educational and cultural experiences.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall support full-time undergraduate students from all Faculties except Dentistry to take part in academic exchange (which may include internships and experiential learning activities) in the United States for one semester.

Up to 30 scholarships shall be awarded to students on the basis of academic merit, with a Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above, subject to the funding availability at that time.Financial need may also be taken into consideration.
