Daniel Yu Chung Kwong Memorial Enrichment Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2023, family of the late Dr Daniel Yu Chung Kwong (Hon DSocSc 2023) pledged a donation to establish a scholarship fund to support the education of undergraduate and research postgraduate students of the Medical Faculty.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to full-time undergraduate students of the Medical Faculty in support of their participation in learning and research programmes duly approved by the Medical Faculty. Activities may include but not limited to academic exchange, intercalation studies, research attachment, humanitarian work, and/or any other experiential teaching and learning activities.

The exact value of each scholarship shall be determined on the basis of the students’ academic merit, activity duration and budget, and financial need.
