Master of International and Public Affairs (MIPA) Merit Scholarship

In 2023, the Master of International and Public Affairs (MIPA) Merit Scholarship was established to recognise students’ academic achievements and encourage diversity of the MIPA programme.

Purpose and Scope

A maximum of four (4) scholarships shall be awarded to full-time or part-time students studying the degree of Master of International and Public Affairs (MIPA) in each academic year on the basis of:

i. encouraging diversity, one of the four scholarships will be designated for students in four regional pools — (1) Hong Kong, (2) Chinese mainland, (3) the rest of Asia, and (4) the rest of the world respectively, with the regional criteria determined based on citizenship status; and 

ii. academic excellence determined by students’ cumulative Grade Point Average within each regional pool.

The Scholarship shall be awarded upon the students’ completion of the programme.
