Rosie Young Enrichment Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2023, Sun Chieh Yeh Heart Foundation pledged a donation to establish a fellowship and scholarship fund in honour of Professor Rosie Young. Part of the donations shall be designated for Enrichment Scholarships for MBBS students of the Medical Faculty.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to full-time MBBS students in support of their participation in academic research or intercalation studies overseas that are duly approved by the Medical Faculty.

The value of each scholarship shall be in the range of HK$50,000 to HK$100,000. Up to two scholarships will be awarded each year. The exact value of each scholarship and number of scholarships shall be determined by a Selection Committee on the basis of the students’ academic merit, activity duration and budget, and financial need.
