HKU Business School Entrance Scholarship for Global Engineering and Business Programme

In 2024, the Faculty of Business and Economics established a Scholarship for the inaugural cohort of students admitted to the Global Engineering and Business Programme (GEBP) in 2020-21, who continued their studies in the self-financed 5th year BBA degree programme.

Purpose and Scope

Up to 5 scholarships shall be awarded annually to new students admitted to the self-financed 5th year of the BBA degree programme who:

(i) were admitted to pursue the degree of BEng or BEng(BME) through the GEBP under the Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) Scheme in the academic year of 2020-21 and received the “Dean’s Award for Engineering Students” from the Faculty of Engineering; and

(ii) have successfully completed the BEng or BEng(BME) degree with at least a Second Class Honours Division One.

Eligible students shall be considered upon successful registration with the Faculty of Business and Economics and no application shall be required.
