Khyentse Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship in Buddhist Studies
On the Donor
In 2024, Khyentse Foundation generously pledged an annual donation for
an initial period of four years to establish a Scholarship to support students pursuing PhD
programme at the Centre of Buddhist Studies (the Centre).
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded to students pursuing PhD programme, on the basis of
academic merit and financial need.
The exact award value and the number of awards to be made each year shall be determined
by the Centre’s Departmental Research Postgraduate Committee (DRPC) subject to
funding availability. In any event, the value of each scholarship shall not be less than
HK$10,000.
