Father Thomas Yu Yuen Chee Scholarship

On the Donor

In 1978, friends of the Reverend Father Thomas Yu Yuen Chee donated a sum to establish two scholarships. With effect from 2003-04, the scholarships will be awarded annually to the 2nd or 3rd year BSW students.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded on the basis of academic merit to second or third year undergraduates reading for the BSW degree. Where candidates are of equal merit, preference shall be given to those in greater financial need. 

Application Timeline:

- Applications are usually accepted in Semester One of each academic year.

- Applications for the 2022-23 Scholarship will open in late August 2022 and close in late September / early October 2022.  For details, please refer to 2022-23 General Round Scholarship Applications. Results are expected to be available around May/June 2023.
