On the Donor

In 2024, Bank of China (Hong Kong) pledged a donation to set up the BOC Hong Kong - One Belt One Road Scholarship to support undergraduate students at the Faculty of Business and Economics who have achieved academic excellence.

Purpose and Scope

Five scholarships shall be awarded annually to full-time non-local non-first-year and non-final-year undergraduate students from participating Belt and Road countries at the Faculty of Business and Economics, on the basis of academic merit with CGPA 3.0 or above or in the top 15% in class. In order to promote global exchange and a diverse international student body, priority consideration shall be given to students from ASEAN countries. In the case of equal academic performance, priority shall be given to students with financial difficulties.
