On the Donor

In 2024, Bank of China (Hong Kong) donated to set up the Bank of China (Hong Kong) - Financial Technology Talent Cultivation Scholarship to support postgraduate students at the Faculty of Business and Economics who have achieved academic excellence. In 2025, Bank of China (Hong Kong) further pledged a donation to continue supporting the Scholarship.

Purpose and Scope

Five scholarships shall be awarded annually to first-year full-time students of the Master of Finance in Financial Technology programme at the Faculty of Business and Economics, on the basis of academic merit with CGPA 3.4 or above or in the top 15% in class.

Preference shall be given to students with excellent performance in financial technology-related major subjects, internship experience in related fields, or outstanding contributions. In the case of equal academic performance, priority shall be given to students with financial difficulties.
