Computing and Data Science (6999) Entrance Scholarship
On the Donor
In 2024, the School of Computing and Data Science in The University of Hong Kong
established a Scholarship in support of outstanding students admitted to the Bachelor of
Engineering in Computer Science [BEng(CompSc)] and Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial
Intelligence and Data Science [BEng(AI&DataSc)] programmes of the School.
Purpose and Scope
Up to thirty scholarships shall be awarded annually to local and non-local students freshly admitted to the BEng(CompSc) and BEng(AI&DataSc) programmes on the basis of academic merit as shown in the results of the relevant public examinations.
The value of each scholarship shall be in the range of HK$50,000 to HK$100,000. The exact number, value of scholarships and allocation of awards between local and non-local students to be awarded each year shall be determined on the basis of academic achievements of the students and funding availability.
