School of Computing and Data Science Entrance Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2024, the School of Computing and Data Science in The University of Hong Kong established a Scholarship in support of outstanding students admitted to the undergraduate programmes of the School.

Purpose and Scope

Up to ten scholarships shall be awarded annually on the basis of academic merit as shown in the results of the relevant public examinations to local and non-local students freshly admitted to the following programmes:

1. Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Applied Artificial Intelligence
   
2. Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Financial Technology
   
3. Bachelor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science
   
4. Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science
   
5. Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science
   
6. Bachelor of Statistics

Under normal circumstances, eight scholarships shall be awarded to local students, while two scholarships shall be awarded to non-local students. The exact number of Scholarships and allocation of awards between local and non-local students shall be determined by the Scholarship Management Committee.
