Tongcheng Travel Scholarship
同程旅行獎學金
On the Donor
In May 2024, Tongcheng Travel Holdings Limited pledged a donationto
establish the “Tongcheng Travel Scholarship (同程旅行獎學金)” for a period of three years,
which aims to support outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students with majors related
to Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and Internet. Tongcheng Travel is an innovator and
market leader in China’s online travel industry, and it is a listed company in Hong Kong.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded each year to students who are pursuing the programmes
listed below, based on academic merit with CGPA 3.8 or above. For year 1
students, academic performance in prevailing public examinations for admissions to the
University shall be considered.
- Bachelor of Engineering
(Computer Science)
- Bachelor of Engineering (Artificial
Intelligence & Data Science)*
- Bachelor of Arts and Sciences
(Applied Artificial Intelligence)
- Master of Science in Computer Science
- Master of Science in Electronic
Commerce and Internet Computing
- Master of Science in Data Science
- Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence
The value of the Scholarship shall be HK$80,000 each for local undergraduate students;
HK$300,000 each for non-local undergraduate students and HK$100,000 each for
postgraduate students.
