Medical Class of 1974 Enrichment Scholarship

In November 2024, the MBBS Class of 1974 gathered to celebrate their 50th graduation anniversary with reunion activities and to make a gift of a Scholarship to their alma mater. The class collectively contributed to establish the Medical Class of 1974 Enrichment Scholarship.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to MBBS students in support of their participation in academic research, voluntary and community services or intercalation studies overseas that are duly approved by the Medical Faculty.

The value of each scholarship shall be in the range of HK$10,000 to HK$50,000. The exact value of each scholarship and number of scholarships shall be determined by a Selection Committee on the basis of the students’ academic merit, financial need, activity duration and budget.
