HKU EMBA – International Stream Entrance Scholarship

In 2024, the Faculty of Business and Economics of The University of Hong Kong established a Scholarship for students of HKU Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) Programme – International Stream. 

The scholarship aims to attract high-performing professionals recognised by our EMBA students and alumni.

Purpose and Scope

The Scholarship shall be awarded each year to new students admitted to the HKU EMBA Programme – International Stream. The number of scholarships and the value of each scholarship shall be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the following criteria: 

• The quality and achievements of the undergraduate institution attended; and/or 

• Career-related track record (including career path, companies they work for, future potential, title held and entrepreneurial achievements); and 

• A recommendation submitted at the time of admission application, which must be made by: 1) A current HKU student or alumni; or 2) A fellow applicant who successfully enrols in HKU EMBA Programme - International Stream for the same intake.

The Scholarship shall be applied to cover awardees' composition fees. In any event, the value of each scholarship shall not be less than HK$18,000.
