Master of Arts in Philosophy, Politics and Economics Entrance Scholarship

On the Donor

In 2025, the Master of Arts in the field of Philosophy, Politics and Economics programme, offered by the Department of Philosophy, established an Entrance Scholarship to recognise the outstanding achievements of students admitted to the programme.

Purpose and Scope

Up to FIVE scholarships shall be awarded each year to Master of Arts in the field of Philosophy, Politics and Economics students based on academic merit and interview performance. Candidates shall achieve at least Second-Class Honours (Division One) for their Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent.

The value of each scholarship shall be in range of 10% to 100% of the composition fee. The exact number of scholarships and the value of each scholarship shall be determined by the Selection Committee based on the academic merit and interview performance.

No application shall be required, and eligible students shall be automatically considered.
