In 2025, the Faculty of Business and Economics established a Scholarship for new
students of the Bachelor of Global Leadership, Innovation and Society (BGLIS) programme.
Purpose and Scope
The Scholarship shall be awarded annually to first-year BGLIS students. The number of
scholarships to be awarded each year and the value of each scholarship shall be
determined by the Faculty Scholarship Committee, subject to funding availability and
upon recommendation of the BGLIS Admissions Committee, based on the following
criteria:
- academic performance in the prevailing public examinations for university
admission;
- personal accomplishments; and
- potential to contribute to the BGLIS community.
Financial need may also be taken into consideration.
The Scholarship shall not be paid directly to awardees but shall be applied to cover part or all of their annual composition fees. In exceptional cases, students granted a full scholarship may also receive an additional stipend to support living expenses in Hong Kong.
Eligible students shall be considered upon successful registration with the Faculty of Business and Economics. No separate application shall be required.
