Scholarship in Philosophy and Physics

On the Donor

In April 2026, Mr Charles Lo Pui-Leung (BSocSc 1986; MSocSc 1991) pledged a donation to establish the “Scholarship in Philosophy and Physics” to support undergraduate students at the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Physics, and to give due recognition to students of high academic calibre.

Purpose and Scope

Two scholarships shall be awarded each year to full-time local or non-local undergraduate students, in any year of study, on the basis of academic merit, with the following allocations: 

• one for a student majoring or minoring philosophy; and 
• one for a student enrolled in the Department of Physics.
